1. Visit the Kula Eco Park:

The Kula Eco Park is located in the south of the Coral Coast of Viti Levu. The Kula Eco Park is dedicated to the cause of protecting flora and fauna that is facing the danger of extinction and the education of children of Fiji on this issue. One can see some really rare species in the park, including the Red-breasted parrot and the crested iguana. The Kula Eco Park is open to the public every day.

2. Visit the Garden of the Sleeping Giant:

The Garden of the Sleeping Giant is located at the foot of Nausori highlands between the city of Lautoka and Nadi and is so called because of its unique shape that is very similar to the shape of a sleeping giant. The garden famous for its impressive collection of orchids and was created in 1977 to house the private collection of Raymond Burr but due to the great enthusiasm that ensued, it transformed into a real park. In addition to having the chance to see more than two thousand different species of orchids, visitors can enjoy long walks through the jungle and then relax near the beautiful lake water lilies.

3. Get mesmerized by the sacred cave of Sawa-i-Lau:

The people of the Yasawa say that you have not been to Yasawa if you have not set foot on the island of Sawa-i-Lau, which is distinguished by its altitude and is a subject of legends and sacred myths. The caves are of rare beauty and are the cultural heritage of Yasawa. According to the legend of Ulutini, the Serpent God is rumored to still be on the island.

4. Regenerate and rejuvenate at Sabeto Hot Springs:

The hot springs of Sabeto are one of the hidden gems of Fiji. “Sabeto Hot Springs” or sources of hot water are also known as “Sabeto Mud Baths”. The smell of sulfur in the air is unmistakable and you will be greeted with friendliness and confidence by the villagers who would ask you to pay a few dollars to get in the springs. This fee was introduced a few years ago to support the nearby village. Local legend tells that covering bodies with thick loads of mud have healing power and a regenerating and rejuvenating effect on the skin.

5. Enjoy at the Hibiscus Festival held every August in Suva:

Hibiscus Festival is celebrated every year in the last week of August. During this period, the whole city of Suva is in celebration. Hibiscus Festival also features contests like “Hibiscus Queen”, “Hibiscus King”, “Hibiscus Prince” and “Hibiscus princess”.

7. Orchid Island

The cultural center of the archipelago is located in the Orchid island where you will find an exact miniature of Fiji. This is a must-see especially for first time visitors. It is also ideal for families and children.
