We just celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We have had our fair share of couples travel troubles on the road but luckily it still hasn’t changed how we feel about one another.
While we are not yet married, and are not currently engaged, there are obviously a few subtle hints that get tapped into me from time to time. And by subtle I really mean they are more like sledgehammers blows.
Since Valentines Day is nearly upon I started doing a little dreaming myself. If money wasn’t an issue and I could pick the ultimate dream adventure honeymoon, where would it be?
My Ultimate Dream Adventure Honeymoon
Before I could choose my ultimate dream adventure honeymoon I had to think about what we would need to make it awesome.
Obviously it would need to be somewhere near the coastline so that we could go surfing, fishing and diving. And to ensure that we didn’t get too cold it would need to be somewhere in summertime with warm water, or at least closer to the equator.
I also would want to be able to take our mountain bikes out for a ride if the sea wasn’t too nice to go surfing or diving. So somewhere nearby mountains and hills would be ideal.
But what happens if all I wanted to was relax or just chill out gorging myself on delicious food every day? I quickly began to see a problem with my quickly growing list of wants.
There are very few places in the world where you can find all of those adventure activities in the perfect climate.
And the only place that came to mind for me, off the top of my head, was the adventure country of the world… New Zealand. Home.
At least it would save me a lot of money!
For your dream luxury honeymoon you might want to take a look at Turquoise Holidays who provide some of the most outstanding locations you could ever imagine. If we had the chance we would definitely pick one of their stunning holidays for Valentines Day!
