Grenada’s Underwater Sculpture park is certainly a fun underwater adventure! No scuba gear required! Just a snorkel and flippers and the willingness to hunt down the sculptures scattered between 3-7 metres below the waters surface.
Exploring Grenada’s Underwater Sculpture Park
We were fortunate enough to visit Grenada for a spearfishing trip with Olympic Swimmer George Bovell and Josh Lewis from the tv series – Bad Granny Get’s Wet. On our last morning before heading back to Trinidad we had a great time exploring Grenada’s underwater sculpture park and posing for plenty of pictures!
According to the sculpture park website, it is the world’s first underwater sculpture gallery! I highly recommend taking a look at the website before going, so that you know what sculptures you need to find! Its like a treasure hunt trying to find them below the waters surface and is great fun!
Tip: Watch out for the fire coral!! It is growing on some of the sculptures and I’ll take the boys word for it that it hurt a lot!
