It’s Wednesday which means it is Hump Day. What is hump day you may ask yourself? To get a full understanding what it is and why we do it then you have to check out our original Hump Day Wednesday photo.

Basically each Wednesday we post up a picture of something that we have found helps us imagine what we might get up to this weekend. It could be just a relaxing beach, a surfing location, a great snorkelling spot, a destination, well you get the idea.

Where In The World This Week?

Frozen Athabasca Falls, Jasper, Alberta

This photo was taken during winter in Jasper at Athabasca Falls looking towards Pyramid Mountain in the background. The falls are located just a short drive from in Jasper National Park in Canada and freeze (as shown in the picture) during winter. In the past Kayakers have attempted to raft down the narrow gorge and have been killed in the attempt.

You can raft just below the falls though and it is only a Class III river from here down. It’s where I guided for the summer while we lived in Jasper National Park.

What memories does this photo evoke to help you get over Hump Day?
