What a crazy year for us so far!
I am sure that every year the end comes around quicker and quicker and months blur together. I know it is not technically the end of the year yet but we only have 7 weeks until 2012 begins and we feel that the Christmas period is always extremely busy so we just wanted to give you an update on what has been going on.
Our blog has been fairly quiet the last week or so and I wanted to firstly apologise to all our readers for that. We love that you have been hounding us for more posts and information about our Travels and Adventures. Trust me, it is not because we have not been busy. In fact if anything we have been busier than ever and that has caused us to slip up with our blog.
For example, last week I was down at the World Travel Market meeting other travel bloggers and pressing the flesh with as many tourism boards and operators as possible for our upcoming trips in 2012. I was lucky enough to meet some amazing people and will be following up with them all of this week to try to work closely with them in the near future.
I have said it before, the travel community is one amazing beast and it is fantastic to be involved in.
You might have also seen that we have started our Facebook Page and would love you to click that link there and then the LIKE button so you can follow us even more closely. I will wait for you so of you go and do it now…
We are also currently in the process of re-designing our Blog so hopefully there will be a fresh new look in another week or so that you will be able to check out. However, we want the site to remain just as easy to navigate and read so won’t change it too much.
We would also love you to Sign Up to our brand new Newsletter which will be published on a monthly basis to keep you all updated with money saving tips when travelling, travel tricks and advice, photos and adventures.
Our adventure schedule for the next few months is also looking very exciting. Here is a brief run-down of what we have planned so far:
- Dublin this weekend;
- Bruges and Brussels for the first weekend in December;
- Egypt for 10 days over Christmas and New Year’s;
- Amsterdam at the end of January;
- Umbria, Italy in April for the Travel Bloggers Unite conference; and
- Our 3 week cycle trip across Europe in May.
Finally, we just wanted to say thanks again to all our readers for your support. Keep leaving us comments, questions and stories or just keep saying hi. We love hearing from you all and look forward to sharing more of our Adventures with you soon!
Cheers
Cole and Adela
