I have to admit that I love Las Vegas. I avoided going for years because, quoting Oscar Wilde, “I can resist everything except temptations“. However, when I finally made up my mind, I found the city offered a lot more than ways to waste money. Las Vegas, also known as a Sin City, is the most populous city in Nevada and one of the few places in the US that definitely cannot be missed. Whether you are there for a shotgun wedding with your fiancée, a wild “hangover” weekend with your buddies or a thrilling family trip, this city got you covered.

Vegas Baby!

Vegas Baby!

After checking in at the famous Ceasar’s Palace, Rebecca and I spent a lovely sunny day tanning and sipping pricey prosecco by the luxurious pool. As I felt quite lucky, after a conspicuous win on casino.betway.com one of the first things I did that evening, was hitting the poker room. Sadly, I lost about $200 and then I stopped as I didn’t feel that confident any more. That same night, I was lucky enough to see and learn some tricks from some of world’s top poker players in action though. Great show!

Our 3 days’ itinerary included:

1 day – Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden along with Bellagio’s fountains!

To be honest, I was talked into it by my fiancée. I have to say that, after all, some of the pictures we took there, are mesmerising.

2 day- High Roller Observation Wheel

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, which was nice but not too different from the one I have been in London.

That same evening, my girlfriend and I went to see an extraordinary show about Beatles at the V Theater.

3 day- I have always dreamed of visiting the Grand Canyon for as long as I can remember. Rebecca and I spent the afternoon walking along the South Rim. In the evening, we took a shuttle that drove us to some other viewpoints and listened to our guide talk about the formation of the canyon.
