It’s Wednesday which means it is Hump Day. What is Hump Day you may ask yourself? Each Wednesday we post up a picture of something that we have found helps us imagine what we might get up to this weekend. It could be just a relaxing beach, a surfing location, a great snorkelling spot, a destination, well you get the idea.

Where In The World This Week?

Karnak Temple Egypt Luxor

Egypt has become a new favourite destination for us. This is the stunning Hatshepsut Temple which was built into he mountain side near the River Nile by Luxor. It was built for the Queen Hatshepsut who ruled all of Egypt for nearly 22 years until Thutmose III was old enough to rule.

I love the contrast between the deep blue sky and the cliffs behind the Temple. This was probably the busiest tourist site that we visited during the 10 days we were touring Egypt.

What memories does this photo evoke to help you get over Hump Day?
